In the forum, why do I need to register?
If you want to post your own message on the forum, telling people about your deals and discounts then you will need to register.

On the forum registration page I am asked for a user name. What is a user name for?
A user name gives you an online identity or 'alias'. When you post messages on the forum, your alias will be displayed next to your posting.

On the registration form, why does it ask me a weird question, such as, “Which one of these is an animal” or "What is this a picture of"?
This is basically for spam prevention. There are many automated programs on the internet that want to create a forum user id. Once they have a user id, they can then post advertising for their internet site on the forum. The idea behind the weird question is that it will make it more difficult for the automated program to guess the right answer. The question is not intended to be difficult, but to make the user ‘think’ about the answer. It is difficult to make automated programs ‘think’. This will then hopefully cut down the amount of spam posted on the forum.
